More about coach
Ivan “Dev1” Lazarov is one of the most prominent figures on the Czech-Slovak gaming scene. He works professionally as a Software Localization Engineer at ESET, but his life has been closely tied to Counter-Strike since childhood.

His gaming story began in 1999 at Istropolis in Bratislava, where he first experienced the atmosphere of gaming events and quickly made a name for himself. He went on to play for teams such as RedWarriors, 5Shits, and FU.sk, with which he dominated the domestic scene in 2005 and 2006, winning three Czech Republic championship titles at the prestigious INVEX Cup. His performances matched the European elite, and he was twice named the best CZ/SK player.

After ending his active playing career in 2009, he stepped away for a while, but returned with the rise of streaming platforms, where he became one of the biggest personalities. Today, Dev1 is known as a streamer, commentator, and face of domestic Counter-Strike tournaments – since 2014 he has regularly commented on MČR finals. He is also the founder of the DEV1S brand and spends his free time traveling and exploring the world.
