Domi and Thomas from 2troubletravelers

2troubletravelers is made up of Domi and Thomas – a duo who met in Bratislava and were brought together by a shared passion for travel. While Thomas was an experienced traveler from a young age (USA, Norway, Australia, and across Europe), Domi preferred more comfortable holidays and well-tested destinations. Today, it’s clear who inspired whom 🙂

Their journey together began more than six years ago with a trip to Barcelona and gradually evolved into a lifestyle. From a road trip from Bratislava to Lisbon, to living in Spain, and even a six-month honeymoon around the world where they explored the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, and Australia.

It was during their travels that their passion for content creation was born. What started as a hobby turned into a full-time business – today they collaborate with hotels, brands, and companies worldwide and help people travel more affordably, authentically, and without fear.

Behind 2troubletravelers are a former university teacher and an IT consultant who now live a freer life on the road instead of a traditional 9–5, building a community of people who are not afraid to step out of their comfort zone.
